Yes, pics and techinical thoughts on what you did. Especially anything you would change after the fact. I have to do the same at some time so looking for any ideas. Mark L

Check out a set of upper front mounts from an early F1 pickup. Same truck your axle is out of. I know they get used on traditional, old school hot rods a lot. They may be your ticket. Sorry I don't have any pix.

I jut bought the Speedway gussetted shock brackets for shocks for both upper and lower. Welded upper to the frame side and lowers to the axle top.

I wanted to keep the same length/layout as stock shocks that came on the car for simplicity in sourcing replacements down the road. Lower mounts are home made, sandwiched between the axle and spring. (Used an extended center pin to keep anything from shifting). The top mounts are home made as well, attached to the frame where the old bump stops/shock towers were

If I did it again, I might make a few holes in those triangular plates up top they are a bit overkill and they might look better with holes. Still might drill 'em.
