Beautiful Thames! Show quality for sure!
WoW!!!! Your Thames has it all!!!! Makes me want to go out & work on the Opel "right NOW!!!....Makes me realize how far I have to go..... Makes me SURE I will NOT "leave" this "ex-drag car" as is.

Will be happy to have the Kadett S/W 1/2 as nice as your panel. Your "gasser" is truly an inspiration for ALL of us!!!!

Wow, the prices have gone up significantly since I bought my unit (In600ef) in 2007 ....... I paid $1,009, shipping included from New Zealand ........... the cost of the shroud was $919 ......... it's still a bargain when viewed against the $7,700 I was quoted by Hilborn for a set of their mechanicals converted to efi (computer and software included):cool:

The Inglese fuel injection seems to be something worth thinking about. Surely not as impressive as a TRUE Hilborn but it is surely more affordable.

All of that stuff is pricey..... but NO DOUBT a GREAT LOOK. The hot rod scene nowadays is so much about the "right look" especially with with "high-end" goodies. I have ALWAYS loved the look of Hilborn Injection Stacks poking up thru the hood.

Of course that is NOT possible with my car.... both $$$$-wise & because the engine setback is almost 2 feet with most of the engine completely under the cowl & dashboard.

Over the Winter I hope to get around to around to installing a crossram manifold. I'll still have to do some serious modifications to the bottom of the dashboard to get enough clearance just to get the manifold on the engine..... and of course some extra room for air cleaners.

This manifold has been hanging on the workshop wall for way tooooooooo long. Looking forward to putting this vintage hot rod piece where it BELONGS!!!!
