I posted on here about the manual box I had, couldn't find a pitman arm to fit. Well, got it out to try my new U-joint on it and it won't fit. Splined shaft is a hair bigger, so I don't know what the heck this thing is off of. I do know it's time for a different box. Only used one I've found so far is a 57 chevy car manual box, and for some reason someone cut the shaft off where the column connects. Or at least that's what the guy that has it said. A friend said he may have 1 off a 70 chevy truck. If that doesn't work out, I think I'll check on ebay for a vega box.

If there's any left in your area, older square bodied S-10s sometimes had manual steering. The box would be similar to a 60's Chevelle but with a metric spline maybe. A lot better than the 70 truck box. The Vega box works well in my Henry J.
