Well, the storm is here..... It just started about a half hour ago and ya got to see these snow flakes. Not sure they will show up, but I will take another shot in a few hours to see just how bad this storm is, or will it fizzle.

Looks nothing like what I see out my window! Sunny and clear! ;)
Guess this just the beginning of the storm coming from the west, and over night, we will get the back side of the nor'easter coming up the coast. Not sure, but went down and got more diesel for my tractor and topped off my Dodge..... So I'm ready and after plowing, it's Grump time..... As long as we have power. :)

Rained ALL day with falling temps...... not the kind of day to do much of anything. Bone chilling....then around 9pm snow started falling. Suppose to get 2-3 inches over night.
PA supposed to get it too? Hope that it misses you guys and isn't as big as they have been saying. We get 24" of snow in the mountains here, but not the 30+mph winds.

Stay safe and warm.

Mike
Mike from what I'm seeing here at 6:30 am, we barley got a few inches...... The storm we were suppose to get that hit New England just brushed by us. So minor clean up for me, and hope the same for John, but not so easy for our east coast friends.....

Steve.... your wish for me came "true"..... the 2-3 inches of snow forecast for our area also "brushed by us". After a cold night tonight temps will be close to 50 degrees for Sunday & Monday.

After writing the "reply" I made above (just after midnight) I "fell asleep" with my hand still on the keyboard after hitting "post reply" ..... I slept sitting upright on the love seat & I didn't wake up until almost 3am..... ouch!!!! Never did get up to go bed.... just laid down on the loveseat until almost five.

Still fighting off the flu bug..... Just like Mario said "it keeps coming back" ..... especially in the morning after waking up and again late evening.

During the day I actually am functional except for having a sore throat, hardly any voice and coughing up all kind of "nasty stuff"..... yuck!!!! My throat is so sore that at times I hate to cough but when I do it feels better to do so.

When I gave my "presentation" at the PID Reunion Banquet on Thursday evening I barely had a voice. I'll tell you guys more about that later.... along with pictures.... it was a very fun night!!!!

Over 300 people were there..... it has been almost 37 years since the closing of the drag strip and there is STILL an excitment every time PID is mentioned.

Last Summer at the PID Reunion car cruise OVER 800 cars showed up!!!! Needless to say the "growing popularity" of "anything PID" has organizers planning more events for this Summer & who knows what else will come in the future..... There is NO DOUBT "nostalgia" about the "golden days" of drag racing & "the cars" of back then is growing in interest..... :)

More later.... the heater has been on in the workshop for a couple of hours so it will be "nice & warm" in there.... My fav "Doo ***" station has music on ALL DAY ..... so "away I go for now"...... ttyl
