I went to Klamath Falls this weekend with the family to visit my relatives there. My mother asked me if I wanted to go to a Kruise In (Klamath's spelling) Saturday evening and I thought, sure a cruise in Klamath Falls. It'll be cute. It's a small town. I've been to car shows there before...

Wow! I only made it to the cruise... over 500 cars! Dennis Gage was there with his crew filming for My Classic Car. I heard that the show-n-shine had 27 rows 2-deep! There were literally thousands of cars. Everywhere I turned I saw cool cars.

It's sad, but I didn't see one gasser. Not even at any of the hotels around town.

I took tons of photos and videos too.

My brother snapped this shot of a '55 in Chehalis after he came out of a store. He said it sounded very healthy.

That's Cliff's '55 from Bend, Or. He's got a well built smallblock with a 6-71 blower on it. He drove nearly 300 miles to do the Billetproof cruise in Centralia. He drives that thing everywhere! It's also got a Lenko trasmission in it! It's the cleanest show gasser I've seen running around the streets.
Sure seems like the gasser themed cars are still slow to catch on here. My neighbor and I were at a 200+ show in Gresham, Or. Sat. and we were the only gassers also. A lot of younger car people are still puzzled by gassers, and just don't know what they are or why they look like they do.
