Is that the full custom garage guy?
Yes, that's the guy. Don't recall when it was originally aired, but I've seen the build on his show twice, and repeated several times over the years.
Looks like the current owner took off the stupid wooden spoke spinners he used to have on it.

He built it, and rebuilt it by changing roofs, and even doing some crazy body mods. Seemed like he had a tough time keeping himself from changing it until he finally sold it.

While I can totally appreciate the craftsmanship, I don't get it. There is no leg room, it is skinny as hell because the transmission tunnel and would not be fun to drive.
No leg room, no head room, reclined seating position, and not much that would make it very easy to drive for long. But a lot of Ian's builds push the limits, and are often built to look like cartoon drawings of cars that never existed. It's sort of a theme car to catch people's eye, and draw them in. Lots of strange cars were built on his show, and not many I wanted to own. But his creativity and building from salvaged parts made me want to watch every show. He could build some unique cars and never buy any new metal, or parts.
