well i joined here about 2 weeks ago, so i fiquered it was about time to discuss something. again, 2 week member, so if this was posted/addressed don`t yell at me. i would really like to put my M/T valve covers on, but i keep sucking oil out of the PCV, blowing smoke out back. i saw a small block chevy with the PCV in the dead space in front of the dist., in the intake. started thinking of this. well, Pace Performance, makes a "RETRO" engine. no breathers in the early corvette valve covers, just the breather in the front oil filler tube. so i write them, they write back, they do this with the PCV, but they use the "baffled" grommet. so i call my buddy up. he has a 400 pontiac, the PCV is in the vally pan, under the intake. "pull the PCV out and tell me what you see? " he did, and all he saw was the CAM ! so, this must work! anyone ever hear about this? comments? thanx for your time!!

There have been manifold mods and I have done it before, on small block chevy drill a hole large enough for the gromet to fit in just behind the carb and distributor, you will also have to build a baffle to the under side drill two small holes to attach it to the manifold this will reside just behind the manifold ports looking at the manifold you will see where I`m talking about.
