posted some info under my newbie post. But I'll start a thread so can post pics and info as we go along. Car is a 1959 Volvo PV. parts all mostly all there body some dents and surface rust nothing rotted. will be putting it on a 2x3 frame kit from Alston chassis. Debating 4 link or ladder bars. Have ran ladder bars for years so leaning toward that route. Going to tub the back, with 6 inch fender flares, and a 1 peice fiberglass front end. plan on working on chassis and body this year then powertrain. Have the motor and trans already. and will fab up a 9 in Ford for it when im ready for it. Im reposting a few pics of the way it sits today.any comments or suggestions Please lets hear em..

Those are a pretty nice body style. They make great gassers with a nose up attitude! I've got a friend who's building one presently for a friend of his. It's got a straight axle, and a Mustang 8" rear now, and soon a SBC 350.

Yup, always thought they made a great gasser. There are some out there in the world, I've seen pics of them as gassers. Good to see the project started. Mark L

Thanks for the neat Volvo videos. I do recall back in the 60's or so the same kind of Volvo that used to be featured in one of the hot rods mags at the time??????

BTW MIKE...... Nice to hear from you again..... welcome back.... John - Pittsburgh
