It's a major decision. Depends on what you want out of the car or how much you want to spend for the conversion. You have to like the look. The young generation thinks it looks like a 4X4. Personaly I've always wanted to build one. Grew up reading about them in magazines. Got my license in '68 and saw my first street gasser in '69. A Candy Apple Blue '57 Chevy with all the front chrome/grille parts totally gone, a built 440 Chrysler with the long cross ram intake, engine set back into the firewall and the driver sitting with his brake foot in the normal location only farther back, but the gas pedal up on the trans tunnel. To this day I don't know how he could have stood the sitting position but he drove that way from Milwaukee WI out to our little town about 30 miles one way. I fell inlove with Gasser then. Mark L
