A day without a new post is like a day without sunshine. Nobody's working on anything? Mark? Vall? Steve? Dave? Rich? Anyone? :D

I just had to post so there was new action on the site.

Well I was busy, but not on the gasser. I spent the day adapting new carpet and seats to the '69 Suburban. OT, but here's a few pics:

Had to make some different brackets and MIG them on the buckets, then built an adapter plate to mount the rear bench to the uprights in back. A little 3/4" box to stiffen the plate and get things solid:

6 way adjustable electric on the bucket, lumbar adjustable, makes for a lot more confort on road trips!

I ran out of sheet metal to work on panels around the car and 1X1 square tubing to work on a dash support. I did place the lower part of the old dash in the car in the new location to see if I can work off of that. I also have stuff around the house to work on but very little OOOmph to do it. So I'll give ya three chances to figure out who's in trouble and the first two don't count, heh! They changed my blood pressure meds and now it's skyrocketing. So I've been laying back a little waiting for the medication to shi$ or get off the pot. Heart's been up to 120 beats/min. Not good. I keep telling my sweety that it's her making it pound, damn, that hasn't worked for 40 years. Anywho. Just laying back for now. Mark L
