Good point! Lots of folks don't seem to concern themselves with safety equipment until they've had to rely on it a time or two---then it seems to go up on the priority list!!! As for the guy/car in the video---what can you say other then obviously a very poorly thought out and built car, suppose the rest of it was put together with the same incompetence as the seat and belts????

Another lesson I learned the hard way, even on the track the other guy's mistakes can take you out....Scary to think that without some good tech people at the track that a car just like that '55 in the video might be in the other lane!!!!

I remember seeing this a couple years ago and could not beleive everything that was wrong with this video, and the one good thing was Don still being alive.

The way he was hopping down the track and the way that car handled ,I guess I would have to say that I don't believe that too much thought went into the car in general.
I am trying to make my point as kindly as possible.
