It's a great car, and I agree about the fake injector setup. I'm not against them, but on this car the setup is much too tall, and is like a wart on a pretty woman's nose! If they used shorter stacks, and a hood where they poked through 4"-5" I'd like it better. Or as you mentioned a Hilborn scoop poking through the hood. They're just distracting the way they are now.

Morris is unique with cool factor but not my favorite. Too many different body lines going every which way with a straight Austin roof. Jmho. 😂

Like so many British cars, the design was antiquated for the years they were made. But that actually made them attractive to me. Even the other Brit cars had gone to more modern designs when Morris was still stuck a decade or so behind.
A Morris Minor was on my list of cars I was looking at when I found my Austin. But I am glad the Austin popped up first, as I like the Austin A8 and A40 bodies a bit better.
