I'm gathering up parts as I roll along this build with the ol silver hawk. I've been putting some time into the thoughts of the braking system. First of all I'm a huge fan of stainless steel. So with that being said, I'll be running a drum/disc brake system with a 7" booster. I'm looking for some knowledge on running brake line and brake line size. Should I fabricate a line from the rear of the car forward with hard line or just use braided stainless line ? Same with the front , hard line or braided stainless ? And what size line would be ideal? GM 12 bolt out back with drums and GM metric calipers up front.

I'd go hard line all the way, and use the braided SS flex lines for the rear T drop, and both front brake drops. Line size is usually 1/4" or 3/16" to the back, and 3/16" to each front wheel. I ran 3/16" all around on both of my cars, and works great.
