[1955 D/GAS]

55 Chevy D/Gas race car that has been sitting almost 40 years that ran out of Hickmans Garage in Laurinburg N.C.. The owner of the car was Jimmy Hickman and was a 5 time champion with this car. I had the pleasure meeting Buddy Hickman Jimmys son who hasn't seen this car in almost 40 years and has a performance shop in Laurenburg. I also met many people that were involved with this car back in the day and verified that this is the car. It is a real back in the 60's gasser including the metal flake upholstery, straight axle, Pontiac rear end,fiberglass tilt fron end and 60's craftsmanship. This car is pure nostalgia and is basically the same as it was back then. The body is very solid but will need restoration and updating and not ready to drop a engine and transmission in. No engine or transmission. I am changing directions so it has to go. I have many pictures that I can send. Thanks. Brian

It's gotta go. I also have a extra complete frame set up with side engine mounts, tubular tranny crossmember and the rear leaf springs have been moved in less rear end. Thanks. Brian

Is this car still for sale i owned it from 1976 to 1979

i purchased this car from herbert hickmand in 76 jimmy brother who jimmy had built the car for .I would like to buy it back if you still have it.
