I just used the term "Moon Tanks" generically but, any of you guys running tanks up front actually using them for gasoline? If you are, any hassels from people thinking they are a safety hazard ???. I was just wondering because I originally intended to have one just for looks and use it for the intercooler water tanking. But now I actually want it to be a surge tank for the Hilborn fuel pump. So I was wondering if there were any problems that way. Thanks for sharing any htoughts or experiences you may have had. Mark L

according to the nhra, got to have a "cage" around it if used for fuel. I also have a thrust tank, and use the "out front" moon tank as a water overflow. The thrust tank is front pass side with 3 returns

Yes most don't really need a fuel surge tank so they use it for looks/water. As I was originally. But I can actually use it for a fuel supply. I might just mount it up under the hood and not out front. Mark L
