lately I have been seeing some vintage shots of hot rods on instagram. I know some of us don't do instagram so I decided to link the pics to our site for our viewing pleasure. We will take no credit and these pics are solely for our enjoyment. Credits will go to the instagram posting host. I will post one or two pics a week. if you like what you see please post so I know Im not waisting my time. Thanks to (Early_Racing_Classics) and (Biggenfast) for donating the instagram photos for us old people to see here on the forum. LOL

Enjoy everyone!

I gotta get my Hilborn motor together this year.
You're damn straight you do, so get busy. Don't take years like I did with my Gear Vendors unit

My kitchen is in full renovation mode and my garage has all the kitchen stuff in it. I don’t have room to do anything right now. I still haven’t finished my exhaust.

My favorite gas class owner/driver, and my favorite version of his '33 Willys! He said the car handled so badly at speed that it scared him! Looking at the arc in those front springs, and the tall, thin shackles I bet it was a handful at any speed over 100 mph! But the engine and '33 Willys combo was just my favorite version, before he went to the Mustang body and new chassis.

Love me a Mopar that sounds this good. Sad he didn’t show us the rest.
That is a great sounding Mopar, problem is it doesn't appear to be his although I might be wrong. It's got that great blower surge going on but no blower sticking out of the hood and no lurching as it backs out of the garage. If you scroll down the same car is in another video, running, no blower surge but with what seems to be a nice, healthy cam. My thought is that he added the audio to the first video, but what do I know.

I was thinking the same thing, it is hard to believe a concealed 144 blower would make 871 or bigger music(notice I didn’t say noise)

Hell I think we were catfished!

You…… you’re good …..you……I see the sped up video to match the sound.
My hemi was making a creaking twisting sound. Hahaha
I was told by a buddy whose owned a number of supercharged cars that the surge is due to bad tuning, and listening to his blown engines (hemis, and others too) none of them have the extreme surge that guys seem to love seeing. I've also seen guys to this with just use of their right foot to make it sound like blower surge.

A little heat to untwist it and it'll be good as new

That has been one of my all time favorite videos to watch in life. To see him choochin the stogie and the arm flap is burnt in my mind every time I get the 57 out and roll through the gears, so I’d say he left his mark in the world and will carry on as long as I do in life.
