Aaaaahhhhhhh….. the sound of crackle. Nitromethane. Love it. I have scars in my eyes that prove it.

Not sure I'd be blipping the throttle on such a narrow stand! It looked like it wanted to torque right off those stands!
yeah I thought the same thing. But just now I remembered they did the same in the pits when I went. I don't remember if the wheels were spinning though.
That could go bad quick.

Here’s a famous built car from my neck of the woods. Baldwin NY. I knew of a Baldwin Motion speed shop when I was a kid but didn’t know all that they accomplished on brand new cars. Very cool stuff. Take note of the West Hampton Dragstrip sticker. My old track before the snobs in the gated communities complained till the strip had enough and sold. I ran a best ever of 11:81 at that strip with the coupe before the accident.

Real Baldwin Motion cars are much rarer than Yenko cars. Not sure if they sold less, or if those sold just didn't survive as well?
It’s almost like there wasn’t as much awareness of the Yenko as there was with the motion guys because it went from Vegas to chevelle, to nova to Vette’s to Belaire Biscayne and all that good stuff. It went to all of those models. Even Buick and Olds
