hello gasser fans, im Keith "ROASTY" Elliott from Gravesend, Kent, England, UK.
im 28 years old and have been into rodding my hole life, its in my blood!
my dad has a very rare 1939 7y fordson van (known as a thames in the usa), rumoured to be one of, if not the first made. he bought it in 1979 when he was 15, it was first rodded in '75 and was called "old iron". it has had in a few different looks over the years but now its got a nose bleed stance (ill upload pics for you all).
me on the other hand has a pop (again known as a anglia in usa), its a on going project, its running a 2.0ltr ford pinto but will be replaced with a rover v8 very soon. its got a jago chassis which is a popular (no pun intended) after market chassis over here.
ill get pictures up as soon as i can,
thanks for having me....................

Welcome..... will be nice to see some "hot rods" from England.

A friend of mine just bought this '59 English Ford "Escort" station wagon. Knowing how he builds hot rods it is going to be one awesome street/strip gasser.

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing pix of yours and your dad's rides. Micro gassers are bad *ss!!
Those Rover V8's started life over here as Buicks and were referred to as "Baby Nailheads". 215 cu. in. Lightweight, and powerful for their size.
