So there's a guy from Cali with a familiar name - Mike Finnegan - who has a post over on Trifive.com looking for info on headers for a Hemi in a '55 (JMR chassis). Anyone here know of anyone making them? He has a thread here: http://www.trifive.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87121

Might be a cool way to help out on a HOT ROD project.

Considering the port spacing on a 426 Hemi I'd think the BBC fenderwell headers would work great with a hemi flange welded to them.

If anything has that 4 letter H word stamped on it it is pricey! I hate that my Charger originally came with the "Hemi" 4spd and it's long gone. Even though it is just an A833 with the big block input shaft that came behind all of the 440 and 426 engines. My car currently has a non-hemi 4spd out of a roadrunner in there and I wouldn't mind finding at least the correct trans, but everyone wants a boatload of cash due to the name.

I know some of the Ford guys cut BBC headers and add Ford flanges for the 385 series engines in Fords so I second that idea for the hemi. It's worth a shot!
