A guy in Mobile had a 56 vette frame from a totaled vette that had been slid upside down back in the 60's and the body off a 57 bird that the whole underframe and lower body were rusted off of so he combined them. I bet that drive both vette and bird restorers nuts.LOL
Those are awesome! Yeah purists can get a little nutty. Some of them need to understand the history of the car before they go spouting off. When I was home on vacation I went to see the mopars at where graveyard carz is filmed. Mark Worman just purchased a hemi car that had the rear wheel wells cut out. A guy inline said why would someone be so stupid to do that. They forget people modify cars to go fast or fit fat tires. That's like complaining about people modifying a 2013 Mustang or Camaro 40 years from now.
