OK, I know it is not a real gasser, but I wanted to stay involved so I came up with a project for a present to my grandson Otto. If you guys don't mind, I will document the build here. Needless to say, it will be much easier than a real car, but I can always use ideas as I go along and should be fun.

Starting off with two wagons, one will be the car and one will be a trailer.

I have a buddy who races those cool little shifter cars down in Phoenix and asked if he had some extra wheels and tires. Boom! Just like that they are on their way to me.

So the idea is to look something like this, but wwwwaaaayyyy cooler.

Just a quick update. No progress on the wagons since I promised my wife to re-do the bathroom with money from the chevy. Just finished it for the most part so I can begin the wagons. I also have to say I saw an early 50's chevy pick up that I never noticed before in a yard I drive by all the time. I am getting the itch and an early 50's pick up gasser may be just the ticket I need to get my spirits back up.

This is the one I have my eye on. beds are common enough. It's the cab and front clip that are hard to come by.
