Got the firewall and frame painted with chassis paint. Nice finish with this paint. Not too glossy. Here are a few pictures.

That's purdy! Nice work on the tilt bracket. Looks very clean.

Yup,the front springs and axle are next. The axle is chrome but needs a good cleaning because of neglect from the previous owner. I think with a good chrome cleaner and some elbow grease it should come back pretty good. I definately don't want to paint it. I have to get moving because I have something very special I need to drop in the frame. I will post pictures when it arrives. This years Christmas present to me from me.

What kind of paint is that? Was it sprayed or brushed? It looks good!

The paint is" Bill Hirsch chassis paint" semi gloss. I bought it from Napa. About $30.00 a quart and it was sprayed on. You can brush it on with a foam brush but I have never seen the results of that way.

Very nice! Looks almost like factory paint for frames. Looking forward to the Christmas reveal!
