Hellow all! I Have a 65 Fairlane,That was once a tubbed drag car. Now I think its time to go in a different direction.
I bought the 65 as a teenager, It has been through may transformations. The current status...was a tubbed, ladderbar, 521" BBF with foxbody coilover struts up front. So I cut it all apart while the engine was at the machine shop to redo the car. Aftermarket Mustang 2 front, 4 link rear, round tube chassis!...you get the point...Well I only race it several times a year....I really don't enjoy the car anymore.
I have always liked Gasser's since I could drive...I was at a Carlisle, Pa Ford show years ago and there is where I fell in love!!!! It was a 64 Comet strait axle gasser for sale sitting on a rollback. Some older racers/gasser owners from the Pa/Md area might remember it....Maroon 64 Comet with "Shake-Rattle-Roll" on the door! Raced at Cecil County dragway in Maryland....but anywho...I am now wanting to build a Blown FE gasser. Hope this forum can help! Thanks for your time Jason
