Yep Mark, i saw this at Kil Kare pontiac-gto nats in dayton 09. sure like it.
This is Troy Tribbys '60 Catalina called "Arapaho". He recently upgraded to a big 505 ( I believe) Pontiac and used KRE highports for the motor. His old motor used the KRE 325 cfm aluminum D-Ports. I bought the KRE D-Ports from him and they will be going on my turbocharged 406. This is the Arapaho now with the big motor. Remember, this '60 weights like 4100 lbs.

This was in the 10.20's He finally got it down to a 10.02 but could not crack the 9.0s. Right now he is recovering for m some major surgery but hopes to get back in the saddle for this summer.

I did one of my rewites on a song for his car. The original song is "Go Go Godzilla". I made it "Go Go Catzilla".

Go Go CatZilla

With a Pontiac grimace and rumbling sound
He gets the engine to settle itself down

Clueless people in their SUVs
Look bug eyed as it looks in on them

He bangs thru the gears and he shifts it back down
As he screams through the buildings toward the center of town

Oh no, its Troys A-rap-aho
Go Go CatZilla, yeah
Oh no, this thing ain’t so slow
Go go CatZilla, yeah

Oh no, it’s Troy’s A-rap-aho
Go go, CatZilla, yeah
Oh no, this thing ain’t so slow
Go go, CatZilla, yeah

Rinji news o moshiagemasu!

CatZilla is going toward the down town area!
Immediately escape, catch up, find shelter please!

Oh no, It’s Troys A-rap-aho
Go go, CatZilla, yeah
Oh no, Headers are all aglow
Go go, CatZilla,yeah

History shows again and again
How nature points up the folly of men

This is the '63 Rompin *******. He runs a manual too. A 5 speed clutchless.

And Larry Quinns '62 Blast from the past. This is a serious car and a serious man. One of the nicest persons you will ever meet.

Ya know Mark i would rather see a full bodied car run anyday as a bunch of dragsters. There ain't nuttin any better than seein' a big car pull the wheels and run 9's or 8's. Pontiacs used to be king of the streets and drags until GM pulled the plug in 63. Seems chevy took over from there. dont get me wrong i lke chevies just as much.Hope how soon you get you'rn done.
Had to devote my time to home improvements today. I have a lot of back issues from over the years so I usually spend one day working on the car/house and 2 days recovering. I have enough titanium in my back and neck to build half of an SR71, heh! I keep telling my wife to creamate me after I've gone so she can sell my metal and have a rightious party. She's going to party after I'm gone regardless so it might as well be paid for, heh! I'll be calling to see if the axle is done tomorrow. Then on to the next step. Mark L
