    time to do

The bolt pattern lay out...have got the reinforcement done with the scoop so now it is time to lay out the pattern...can not just set the scoop on and drill holes...I will mark the pattern and put 8 hard points on the scoop with studs... then mark the hood and do my favorite thing and drill some holes...the nice thing is both the front and rear points will be thru the double panel point in the hood...should have at least 8 mount points...I think I will take the hood too the car wash and de-grease it before any thing....damn rain is screwing things up...my shop is a dusty mess

    To much caffeine

Could not leave it alone too much caffeine and where Vall and I live it is pissing down buckets if wet shit here in the NW. went back to the shop and got the first hole drilled...got it dead center and the holes are right were I wanted them....Yeaaaa some thing went right for once...Was talking with Mario about All Metal filler to repair the dozen or so dings and dents in the food....and while looking up to see if there was any thing special involved with doing it on alloy I found a YT vid on f-150 repair alloy bodies...the guy was shrinking out dents with just a propane touch...so I figured what the hell went and tried it... the dents just melted away and the metal pulled back tight...kind of scary watching the metal sag and then pop back out....I got all the dents and dings out to the point that I will just have to put a heavy coat of primer on..... on the small dings they came out with no damage to the paint...way cool....2 things went right

That’s great. It’s amazing how metal will go back to its original shape. Glad it worked out for you.

Of course gotta have holes. I could imagine that aluminum is real flimsy.

Looks very thick? Do they put some sort of support on the aluminum to make it more rigid and thicker?
