Good info guys, thanks. Everything is pointing to 8.5" wheels. Thanks for the feedback.

The guys who make these killer wheels will be sponsoring our Canned Monster gasser build. American Rebel Manufacturing. These are produced in the US and we will be one of the first cars to get them when they are available. Very excited about this. Now if we can round up a sponsor for some tires.

You can check out there stuff here.

They look much like ET wheels. How are the prices compared to ET, or others?

Very similar to ET/Halibrand wheels. They are priced very well considering they are made in the USA. No more than the China made stuff. Their facebook page has a lot of info on it and you can call for specific pricing.

The spindles are off a 51 Chevy, the rest is hand made. Thanks for the support. Bill at WAC Customs is doing a bang up job on the axle. Top notch work.

Got some decals made of the monster.

So, back to the wheel sizing, I'm going to go with 15x8.5 for the rear size. The car is headed to a local shop this week where they will get the wheel wells cut and the mock up wheels in place to do some measuring so we have an idea for back space. The mopar rear is slightly wider than the 8" coming out.
