Originally a Bel-Air, detailed to a 150 for the old school gasser look, including the 150 rubber window trim, fixed rear side window, & rear seat delete. Drag racer style heater & windshield wiper delete. Continuing with the Gasser look includes radius rear fender-wells, fiberglass tilt front end, fiber-glass trunk lid & rear bumper, and fiber-glass doors. (Working on) plexi-glass sliding windows for the two-lane black-top theme.
Original frame powder coated with Nicky straight axle chromed & set-up with disc brakes. Excellent grafting to frame with pin stripped graphics.
Chevy stroked 350 4 bolt with steel 400 crank, Ross 12.85-1 .385 dome pistons, 6” Eagle rods Schneider cam, solid lifters, 202 camel hump closed chamber fuelie heads, screw in studs with girdles, ss valves, roller rockers, gear drive timing, MSD distributer, Mcfarland intake, Nickerson performance built Holley 750 double pumper carb. & Hooker fender well exit headers. Ford 9” rear w/456 gears, 32 spline axles Morrison ladder bars, Muncie M-21 4-speed & Hurst shifter. Matched American Racing Daisy wheels, Firestone wide oval front & M&H Cheater Slicks in rear. Black roll & pleat interior with Pontiac bucket seats.
Looking to put this nice 55 Chevy Gasser into the right hands of the true Gasser enthusiast. For racing, or just showing.
