    T-10 to 460

I have a Borg Warner T-10 4 speed from a smallblock Mustang. Will it fit behind a 460?

The trans will work...you need the right bell housing ...351M to 400...depending on the year of the 460...internal balanced...or external balanced for flywheel...you can not mix the parts

Real question is will it hold up to the torque of a big old 460?

    Same

thing I was thinking Vall. Probably a Super T-10 or Muncie M-22 would be more appropriate but they're big dollars, $2000 or more and then there's the linkage.

If he's got linkage, I think a Super T10 will use the same? And those two trans would both be better behind a 460 Ford. Of course the Muncie M22 is the king, but even more money than the Super T10.

should not be a problem strength wise since it is going into a gutted out falcon...in a heavy car it is not enough...before I spend the money on a Muncie or a super T10... I would look for a 5 speed, used after markets are out there for good prices

I figure since I can't fit a bunch of tire under the lightweight Falcon the T-10 will probably live a while. Besides I am not hard on parts. I had the flywheel balanced with the engine parts. Thanks
