    Rear shocks.

so, I scored a set of brand new monroe air shocks with 2 air pressure gauges for 40 bucks. Do the shock mounts go in front of the axle or the back, or does it matter? I am making my own cross member over the top to get them straight up and down. Picture of chock mounts I have for the axle.

No, it doesn't matter which side. But for convenience of adjusting height, I'd put them behind the axle where they're easy to work on.
I have a pair of those I used to make my ladder bar axle brackets. Already had them here, so I like using stuff I stashed away.
