Very few people want a cross ram intake. Most are enamored by them, but given the chance to buy one they wont pay much because of their fear of making them run well. When I bought mine for a SBC for $250 I was thrilled. When I put it in my booth at the swap meet for $450 it got lots of interest, but as soon as i said, "Make me an offer" the interest dwindled. I finally sold it to the guy behind me for $300 and was glad to get it.
Steve we will see where this one ends up at the end of the auction...says it does not have any striped threads but fails to mention all the drilled out broken studs in it, some people pay an arm and a leg for dented up moon tank....lol... why not a manifold...some collect wheels others axles..all makes no sense...since or cents....lol
It will be interesting to watch the bidding on these. At least the Edelbrock manifolds don't require the distributor adaptors like the M/T does. I'm always surprised how much the M/T ones go for that don't include the adaptor. https://picclick.com/Rare-Mickey-Thompson-Cross-Ram-Intake-Ford-Fe-333433663600.html I can only guess that possibly those buyers don't know about it.
That's actually a darn good price on the big Ford tri power with rebuilt carbs and linkage.
