Pretty cool gasser. Gonna be real hot with a straight axle or drop ibeam axle.

Although the differences between a Pontiac and a Chevy of the same year are small, they are significant too. Those "waterfalls" of chrome on the hood and trunk lid are so cool! And of course the Indian on the side of the 1/4 panels is very cool!
This should make a great gasser! I love those long trunk lids on the coupe model.

I have been sidelined with another heart thingie. They found one of the vessels going to my heart has collapsed so I am getting 2/3 of the blood flow. Told me to slow down so I am for now as they try and figure out there next move. Warmer weather I will be back at it no matter what.

I hope you feel better soon! It's tough to know the car is waiting, and you want to be out there working. But get healthy first!

Great car to build I'm an old Pontiac guy and am just getting close to putting my '63 Catalina Gasser on the road. Fixing details right now. I would love to have started with a car like yours.
It's not a period gasser but it is what I would have built had I been of age to back then.

Yesterday I was so far behind that the guy in front of me was me!

I see my cardiologist tomorrow and we , I , am going to discuss my limits as to what to expect in the coming months. I tried to do a little yesterday but breathing the cold air just set my heart into spasms so I had to come in and watch some gasser videos and formulate some plans in my head. Like you all said it will wait and if I am not careful I am no good to anyone.
