Shades of the mid 70's Mustang II! I couldn't hear any "throaty sound" the driver described, and told them to listen for? Maybe I have a different idea of what throaty is?

That car is butt ugly. And non descript. It looks like every import car on the market today.

Oh crap! I just went back and looked again. It's a frigging 4 door! Mustang??? I think only in badging.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and a friend had a "Varoom" motor on his bike.

I looked at it and thought it was a 4 door then googled some other pics...it sure looks like a four door...but really the full side profile reveals it is an SUV..there is a police version also ..

Well if there's a "police version" it would definitely indicate it's a 4 dr. Never seen a 2 dr. cop car in my life.

don't know if they still do it here but years ago the CHP had a couple Camaro Z28s and believe it or not a C4 Vet that were used almost exclusively on the I 15. I was told that the cars were from drug related property seizures. It was a trip though the first couple times you'd see them hauling ass past you.

Right you are Steve! I forgot about our pursuit and freeway ticket cars. We have Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, all used as unmarked speed control cars. Doubt they'll use these electric Mustangs for that purpose though.
