\r\n Here is a set of old school ladder bars that came in the trunk of a project car I bought a great many years ago. They are old , but unused. I can\'t recall the brand as the box was in pretty rough shape. They measure 34.25 overall are for for a 3" axle. $100 plus the ride. They are heavy as hell (32lb.s) so figure shipping could be salty if you live in never never land. Interested parties can contact me via pm

\r\n I don\'t remember Lakewood ever making anything but bolt on parts; but just because I don\'t remember doesn\'t mean they didn\'t. When I was building my 67 Camaro in 1973 (I posted photos of this car at some point) I wanted ladder bars and not the conventional bolt on traction bars that were on every car on the road. The only ones I could find were the Lakewoods for the rear coil spring GM cars. I went ahead and bought a pair then proceeded to cut off the factory welded on triangulated side brackets that were made to bolt to the lower control arms. I left the on the curved axle housing saddle that was welded on rather then cutting them off and after making front mounts bolted the units on and then rather than weld the saddles to the housing I welded the top pieces of the saddle to the axle housing for ease of removal.
\nThis pair that is for sale appears to have had both the control arm and axle housing brackets cut off. If these had been avalilable in 1973 as shown in the photos I would have bought them.\r\n

\r\n I thought PAW sold weld ons in their magazine back in the 80’s. At least I thought they were Lakewood. I also owned a bolt on set myself. Had them on my 442.\r\n

\r\n In 73 when I was building my Camaro I don\'t remember PAW being around. I don\'t believe that Super Shops was around yet either at least not in California. At that time it was all small independent speed shops most notably "Blairs" in Pasadena.\r\n
