    Cool 57 Ford Custom

Howdy- This is my project I just picked up. Her name is "Jezebel". 57 Ford Custom two-door sedan. I think it was headed to the crusher. The guy I got it from has been trying to sell the body after robbing it of it's rear end, and he wasn't having any luck. Anyway, I traded some labor for it and brought it home last week. Got it off the trailer tonight and have sourced a 390FE and a nine inch from a sixties car (might have to narrow that). I am super excited for the build and excited for this forum. Will keep you posted as it progresses.Attachment 98707Click image for larger version.

I am in Spokane, just a days drive to Portland. Thankfully my closest friend is a body guy and I know some myself. The guy I got it from has lots of spare parts and has given me the pick of whatever. We are building a Ranchero for him as trade. I will let you guys know as it progresses, my read end will be here tomorrow.

Alright, my buddy dropped off this nine inch for me today, supposed to be out of a 63 wagon. It is the smaller spline, but I have another one from a 67 Galaxie that I may use instead. Either way, parts are coming in, will take pictures when I change the spring perches and get it installed.

The smaller 28 spline 9" is indeed the weaker axles, but new side gears and axles will fix that.
