    kinda/sorta 'interior' question...

at least it installs in the interior....

can i drill glass? i would *assume*
its more grind than drill, super slow,
no pressure on bit, use tons-o-coolant,
and a diamond or concrete type bit.

found a giant 2-1/16 glass fake diamond i
would love to use as a shift knob in
    the 55 plymouth.

IF its possible to grind a flat spot at the tip
then drill a hole, i was thinking a long
'tube nut' ( like for joining allthread pieces
together ) with the corners ground down to
fit in the hole, held in place with jbweld
    or epoxy or something.

didnt guys back in the day use old glass doorknobs
and stuff as handles? anyone know what the
recipe is to do this? i guess worse comes to
worse i make a silicone mold of this diamond
and cast it in acrylic like the ones we made
in our 454 vette a few years ago...

I know there is way to do this. Just can't remember. Old and feeble. Will remember some year.

Who was the original Batman TV series "Catwoman"? No cheating! Looking it up on the net is a nono!
Hidden Content I have no extra cigarettes, money, beer or pot. But I do have extra bullits. Scott

I'd probably take it to the local glass shop and see what they told me. If I tried it, I might mess it up, even if it was possible.

Yes it can be drilled and you can grind it to, you need a very fine grinding wheel like what an optometrist uses to grind lens for glasses in to there final shape...very slow process...and also need an industrial diamond drill bit....how do I know...my dad was an optometrist............lol...cost... ten times more than its worth

Canada is home to millions of immigrants. It is a great country to live in, with more than a quarter of a million immigrants coming to the country every year.
