    Finally got a duece...

Just picked up this sweet '63 100 from Spokane.

The PO had installed a new floor and mini-tubbed it. Don't really care about the tubs because he also had a narrowed 8.8 so it would have to go 4-link. I want to run springs. It's just welded to angle iron right now.

I have a speedway axle, just need springs for that. I'm going to make my own frame rails similar to the kits out there. Have a early Nova 283 that I will mate to one of my Muncies and use my 10 bolt rear.

Have a pair of seats that I got a few years ago that should work fine. Interior only needs headliner and carpet. The rest is fine.

This is the car that got me into gassers in the first place.

Congrats Mike that looks sweet. I used to shoot pool, play horseshoes, ride dirt bikes and gave all that up. I also used to like beer and yep, have not given that up..... Always liked cars, still like working on 'em..... grabbing some pop corn putting my feet up and drinking a beer going to enjoy this built.

That's great Mike. Looks solid from here. When you get done it will be a gem I know that for sure.
    Congrats on your find.

Cool Mike! And I love that it's a 2 dr. sedan too! Looks really clean, and straight! Have you seen Jeff's Nova that replaced his orange and black '56 after it burned up? He put a 6-71 blower on the Nova not long ago!

Thanks Mario, Cap'n, Rik & Vall. Body doesn't need much to make it good. Going to do Vall's style radius on the rear since I need to replace the lower rear part of the quarters. Need advice on replacement springs for the mono-leaf ones on the back. Prefer multi-leaf. Also Vall, didn't you get springs for your front axle locally? If so I need the info.

I saw pictures of his car but not sure if it had the blower on it. I think it was tubbed, right?

Anyway, I have a 58" axle for the back that should be fine just need the springs that will work on the old mounts. Doing research now.

Keeping this one simple. Almost would rather put a powerglide in it if I had one...

Mike, I did get a main leaf built for the Austin locally, but was kind of expensive. I also ordered trailer springs for the Falcon, but used the old main leaf off the Austin's Speedway set to make up the spring pack.

Here's a 3 leaf replacement for your Nova:

They also have springs to get a 4" lift for your Nova.

Thanks Mario, that's almost exactly the stance I am wanting. Might have to do a bit of radius to clear the tires...
