That Willys belongs to a friend of mine, Robbie Davis. He has several Willys plus a few other significant old hotrods. That Willys has a 383 SBC in it, and it launches wheels up, almost dragging the rear bumper! I think Robbie told me it's a Summit crate engine, and a 4 speed, with 9" Ford and 5.38 gears!Originally Posted by mmhotrod

In this video Robbie is running his Homeyer's Willys against his other Willys, the pickup he owns. Not sure if his wife or his daughter is driving the pickup? He gave his daughter the pickup about that time.

Here it is at Eagle Field in 2015. But they don't use any traction compound at Eagle Field, so he can't hook up enough to bring the wheels up. About 22:00 min. into this video.

Mario...As much as I love the Willys ...especially a bobbed truck...I would rather have a nice 32 ford coupe , 5 window, 3 inch chopped top and fender-less

I'm over both of them myself. Whether it's a Willys coupe, or a '32 Ford coupe. The car shows and internet are flooded with both, and in the case of '32 Fords there may be more on the road today in the form of originals, and aftermarket bodies, than Henry Ford ever built!
If it was my choice it would be a number of others before either of those cars.
