    Hi Mario,
Thanks! I was pretty happy with the old black paint on the Austin also, and still look at old pictures and second guess the decision to paint it. It had a lot of character in it's original paint, and was fun. I did at times get tired of the "rat rod" references by ignorant car people, and also the debates with older guys who kept telling me they'd watched it run back in the 60's. But it was also fun to have the survivor look, and I never worried about anyone touching it, or getting close to it. I almost wish I had both looks, and it's made me wonder if I really ever want to paint the Falcon. It has that similar look, and painting might totally change it.

I love the looks of your coupe.
I have a '34 Ford that I am thinking about changing from the low Hot Rod look, to the Gasser look.
What is the brand and size of your rear tires? They look GREAT!

Lol, not sure how comfortable I am with it. It kinda grows on you. I am partially Navy trained and OJT on the rest. It took 20 years to finally get a place where I didn't have to move in 3 years and have the shop I always wanted. Thank you for the kind words. I know my initial welds were done with flux mig wire and no argon mix. They were pretty ugly. I used the car for therapy. I guess that is why it is taking so long :)

Thanks Mario! Most of my friends said it looked like a London cab when I got it, but I could see the potential in there.

I also have a Camaro, it is a 71, ,,,again the lengths that you go to seem amazing to me. What is the story on the camaro? if it is somewhere on the forum or a camaro forum somewhere just let me know, I havent looked around for it yet.
I am thinking the only reason to go after a 68 camaro to that level,,, it has to be special in some way. My 71 was not nearly that bad but it was rough, rearended, then poor repairs, rust etc, so ,,, I just searched for a different shell and I have been transferring everything over to it.

Thanks Mario. Most all my pics are of the build. They are all in the build thread in the Projects section. I'm kind of lazy and don't do the album part. BUT, maybe it's a good time to start hey? Thanks for the kind words Mario. They are very much appreciated.
