Thanks for the kind words.The engine is a 1966 327 c.i. .030 over L79 pistons 4577 crank with a lunati cam & lifts.The trans is a M21 out of a 1969 chevelle.The rear is a stock 10 bolt unit with a 3:08 gear.I built the engine 2 years ago.I fired it for the first time about a month ago,I'll post some before pics & build pics.
That's a BIG compliment considering the cars Steve has been around, seen & especially the ones he has built over the years.
No doubt your car stands out in a crowd ..... any crowd.
Looking at where you are now is where I am looking forward to be.
Again, like you it looks like it will be at least a couple of years before I get to the point of getting done with everything I NEED to do with our Opel before we get the engine in the car and fire it up.
This project went quick . Not my first one . Chevy II's are simple cars. Nothing like a Tri5. Did a 55 Nomad (completed) 5 years ago. That three year model chevys have numerous parts.
